Trained and experienced in ecological education and having developed numerous school greening & garden programs, I will engage parents or educators with informative and fun activities (indoors or out) with dialogue that will empower people of all ages to develop their naturalist intelligence and make healthy changes… easily.

Naturally Gifted (Indoor &/or Schoolyard Component):

Parents/Educators will leave understanding and appreciating:

• Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences
• Parenting strategies to develop your child’s Naturalist Intelligence
• Getting beyond David Sobel’s, “Ecophobia”
• Games/activities to play with your child in the yard and/or forest (plus more in the take home guide)
• Easy ways to set up a basic garden/exploration area at school or home
• Great places to explore in the Lower Mainland

From the Ground Up (Indoor or Schoolyard Tour):

Parents/Educators will leave understanding and appreciating:

• Research on the health benefits of urban agriculture for children
• The food dilemma (organic versus conventional agriculture)
• Easy ways to set up a basic garden area at school or home
• Planting and growing ABC’s (included in take home guide)
• Identifiable wild foods (through a tour of a local forested area/or indoor examples)
• Child-friendly recipes courtesy of the wild outdoors (or not so wild) (plus more in take home guide)

Going Green All Over (Indoor program with take home guide):
